how do i get all save as windows from windows to be on the d drive
automatically? like if yer in word pad or any program and you save the file,
how would i get it to be on the d drive instead of the c drive? without
having to click to go to the d drive that is.

D drive is not a netwrok drive, but just a second computer partition. sony
put on their Vaio laptops c and d. they filled up c so not much is left on
it. my friend wants to have all save boxes point to the d partition.

Well, it doesn't matter about the drive location specifics. The answer
is still the same: you can't have everything automatically sent
somewhere. You have to go to each program and see if its options
support changing the default save folder. If the options support it,
then make the change. If not, then oh well you will have to use "save
as" dialogues.
