Hi there,

I receive a daily mail with a .txt attachment which i want to be saved
automatically to a local folder on my harddisk. The attachment should not be
deleted from the mail but the mail must be moved to another folder in outlook.

Is this possible and if it is how should i do this, and where to save my
macro?

Is it also possible to automatically run an excel macro when this macro in
outlook is finished?

Thank you in advance,

Marc

The latter part of this (moving the message) can be done with a rule. As
for saving the attachment to a folder on your hard drive, see
http://www.slipstick.com/addins/housekeeping.htm for some ideas.
