Automatically resize images

I would like to disable this IE feature of automatically
resizing all images to fit in the browser window.
However, when I uncheck the box, it wont stay checked.
After I hit apply and ok, if I go back into the options
menu, it has rechecked itself. This doesn't happen with
any other check boxes in the options menu. All images
are still being resized. Any help would be appreciated.

Tossing out a guess...
With no IE windows open, try it from Ctrl Panel> Internet Options. Then
restart.
