When using Outlook 2003 with an IMAP account, purging and moving of files
does not happen real-time - meaning, when you delete or move an e-mail, you
get a line through it instead of actually seeing it disappear to the trash or
getting moved to the folder you indicated! Instead you must manually Purge
each folder individually from the main menu. It's terribly cumbersome,
creates clutter and confusion, and I believe this is why so many users are
seeking or using other e-mail clients. Please let me know if I'm mistaken and
there's a better way of going about this.
(Oh, and I'm also getting "Your IMAP server has closed the connection"
messages every 5 minutes or so. Any idea on how to fix that?)
