I have the following serial numbers in a spreadsheet:

WFMM045462
WFMM045463
WFMM045464
WFMM045465

Is there anyway to automatically generate the next 20 or so seria
numbers? I need serial numbers WFMM045462 through WFMM045494 to b
automatically generated in a column. Is this possible? I would lik
to know the easiest way to do this. If there is a way to do thi
without programming, please let me know.

Thanks

Enter the first two in a cell. Select them and then grab the 'fill handle'.

until the number equals the one you want to stop at

Hi
one way:
- enter the first two cells
- select these two cells and drag the selection down

Sure. select the last two serial numbers so they are
framed together. Now hover your mouse over that little
black square in the lower right corner of the frame.

Click and hold the mouse button down and drag as far down
as you need to go. Done correctly it should continue with
WFMM04566,..67,..68, etc.
