automatically disconnect modem after xx minutes

Does WinXP have any command like the shutdown but to hang up a connection
after xx seconds?
The rasdial command doesn't have any timer

Control panel \ internet options \ connection tab \ settings button \
advanced button
There's a place to insert a time up to 59 minutes to disconnect when
idle. I'm not entirely sure how the computer defines "idle", though.
