Hi

I would like to know if it is possible to have Word automatically copy input to other places in the document. In my case I have a questionaire on the first page. The information typed on this page I would like to get copied to some specific locations on page two. How can I do this..? I have been looking at Document Variables, Fill-In Fields and so on, but haven't been able to put it all together

Kind Regard
Morten

Hi Moreten

You can replicate any 'bookmarked' text with a REF field, positioned
wherever you want it to appear.

You could use a FILLIN field located at the point where you want the first
instance to appear, and bookmark it, or you could use an ASK field anywhere
in the document, and use the ASK field's own bookmark. In either case, you'd
use REF fields to replicate the text.

One thing to be aware of is that Word REF fields don't automatically
update - they only do so if you select them & press F9, save, close &
re-open the document, or print the document (with 'Update fields' set via
Tools|Options|Print).

Cheers
