automatically CC someone every time you create a new email messag.

One of our staff would like to be able to create a new message in Outlook and
have it automatically CC someone. In other words, have an email address
default in the CC field when he click on New Message.

You can do this with a rule. The action is "Cc the message to people or
distribution list" and you can apply it to every sent messsage. This rule
exists in OL 2000 through 2003, so I suspect it may exist in OL 97 and 98 as
well.
In other words, have an
email address default in the CC field when he click on New Message.

The rule won't do this. Why is it needed? It's just "window dressing".
The rule will still work the way you want.
