automatically add email address to contacts

In the past, before I installed this version of XP & Outlook, I have found (somewhere) a setting that, once enabled, caused any email recipient I sent mail to to automatically be added to my Contacts. I am unable to find this setting any longer

Microsoft Outlook 2002 (10.6515.6626) SP
MS Windows XP Home Edition ver. 5.1.2600 SP1 Build 260

(Note: this is NOT the same as opening an email and manually choosing to add the recipient to my Contacts.

Looking forward to hearing from someone in this matter

No full version of Outlook ever had this feature. Only the long abandoned
IMO did.
You can create such a feature with code if you wish:
