Automatic viewing of MS responses to error reports

I have 821253 installed to allow automatic viewing of
Error Reports sent back from MS in response to a
recognised problem,

Nonetheless, whenever I do see a response to an error
report being sent back, the transmission completes, but
it doesn't show up anywhere.

In the (manual) past, whenever MS offered a response and
I accepted, it opened up IE and displayed text or a link
to KB.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I'd think the secret lies in this line, Paul: "After you submit an error
report, you can immediately view any *available* information that relates to
the issue, such as hotfixes, workarounds, or other relevant information."

What problems are you having? Tell me what's displayed at IE
Help>About>Update Versions (e.g., Q123456).

Understood ... but there is a significant difference
between sending an error report and being told "done",
and sending an error report, watching it complete and
then watching MS send back 30 seconds of data (RD, not
TD) only to watch the window close with nothing displayed.

My assumption is that MS has identified some "available"
info and is trying to send it to me ... to no avail. I've
looked for any file within that time window, even
resorting to by time/date searches for any file and found
nada. This occurs whether or not I'm logged into .net or
messenger, and whether or not I've already opened an IE
window. very puzzling.

I'm not familiar of the inner workings of "Send an Error Report" but I
assume the "data exchange" activity you're seeing after sending the report
is MS "checking out" your system to compile it into the report, much like
the way the V4 Windows Update engine "checks out" your system before
offering to scan for updates. (Windows Update.log will illustrate my
point.)

All appears well. Good luck.
