I just got a new hard drive for my notebook from work and several things
aren't working: can't run windows update (Network policy settings prevent you
from using this website to get updates for your computer - error 0x8dd0003),
can't open the mail applet in the control panel, can't run MSN instant
messenger. My guess is that there are some permissions that were turned off,
but I can't find them. I have windows XP SP2. Any ideas would be
appreciated.
