I am running Windows XP home edition, 1.6 processor, 512 RAM. Today I
started downloading critical updates using the Automatic Update icon in the
tray. I had to pause it when it was showing 11% complete. Now, when I want
to resume the update, there is no Automatic Update icon in the tray. I have
checked the Automatic Update tab in the Systems area, and it is correctly
checked. Can anyone help?

The icon should reappear when you are online for a longer time and the
AU can restart downloading the upgrade.
If you do not want to wait for this, visit the Windows Update site to
download the updates manually.
