Hi there! I am posting this for my sister, who keeps
getting an error message when she is online informing her
that her computer will shutdown in 60 seconds, with a
countdown clock. Could someone please tell me why this
is happeneing and how to fix it? Thanks!

you have a virus, i think just about every one had had this one, it only
effects windows xp exploiting a vunerability from its NT cousin, there is a
patch available from microsoft, there are only 2 viruses that are likely to
cause this the W32/Sasser.worm and W32/Blaster.
go here: http://vil.mcafeesecurity.com/vil/averttools.asp
download the latest Stinger program (a little tool that removes common
viruses) its free, download and run on your sisters computer and that should
fix the problem, then you better make sure your sister has the latest updates
from the Microsoft automatic update site.

Cinthia, maybe you have a virus, to eliminate your possible virus, you may need to update your computer by windows update, also you need a firewall, and the last thing is a antivirus program like Norton Antivirus, or Mcafee. My emmail is (e-mail address removed)
