automatic securty updates

I am getting daily notices: 1 security update ready to install, but several
minutes after installing it the same notification is in the icon in the
system tray. Security updates configured to download and install updates.
If I install update I get installation successful screen. Ran adware which
is not finding trojans. Viewed download history at windows update site and
security update 811493 has been installed 1-2 times per day over the last
week.
