Hi
I have 50 PCs that are used in a research centre. The PCs are accessed by
many different users daily.
Any number of users will download and install programs from the internet or
from home.
I don't want to lock the PCs down too much as there are some things the
users require that need power user privs. (also I am not too sure about how
to lock the PCs down.)
This allows them to install unrelated silly games etc. that are a pain.
All PCs are win XP
I would like to restore back to a restore point each time the PC boots.
I have a scripted batch file that does this when run from a command line.
Problem is if it runs everytime the PC boots it will keep looping as the PC
automatically reboots to install the restore point.
Am I making sense??
Any thoughts.
