I had to rebuild my folders due to a stupid thing i did by trying to send a
huge file via email.

The button still works and I have checked my settings and its set to 5 mins
and does not work.

Is there maybe a registry setting or another outlook setting ??

Thanks in advance

There should have been no reason for you to have "rebuilt" your folders.
See
http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/messagestuckinoutbox.htm . If you have
your original PST, you can go back to using it.

What button is that, the "Send/Receive" button? With Outlook closed, try
deleting or renaming the file %AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook\xxxxx.srs, where
"xxxxx" is your profile name. The %AppData% folder is usually hidden, so
open WIndows Explorer and enter

%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook

in the Address field and click Go. You should see its contents then. After
you've renamed it, restart Outlook, reset your Send/Receive settings, and
see if they work. A send/receive interval of 10 minutes is the recommended
minimum.

If the new SRS file doesn't help, then try creating a new mail profile in
Control Panel's Mail applet. Click the Show Profiles button and you should
see either Add or New.
