Automatic preview with IMAP

Hi all

I am using Outlook 2002 at office to check my email
accounts via IMAP protocol. I don't want Outlook to
display automatic preview lines under the message when I
highlight it so I turn off "Show Automatic Preview". If I
change IMAP folder and come back, automatic preview is
turned on again!

How can I permanently disable this feature?

View, Current View, Define Views. Select the view by name, not by <current
view> and modify it.

I'm having the same problem and the sollution you offer
works; however, I have to do this for every existing IMAP
folder and every folder created in the future which is
cumbersome. Is there a way of setting the default view
settins for all folders to "No Autopreview"? This
sollution would be more helpful since I have to deploy
135 installations of Outlook 2002 and I can't expect my
users to define views every time they create a new folder.

Alas, Outlook views are extremely difficult to customize. There isn't
much you can do other then live with it.
