I had an email address in my Address Book, which I then deleted. Now,
whenever I type something that is LIKE that name (i.e., anything that starts
with the letter "a") , the email address that I deleted from the address book
still appears on the recently-used-email-address list. Is there a way to
CLEAR the names that appear on the recently-used-address list?

User the arrow keys to select the "bad" address from the list and hit the
delete key.

What Outlook version are you using? Probably XP or 2003. What is appearing
is autocomplete information. It is not stored in a contact folder, but
rather a system file commonly referred to as the autocomplete cache or NK2
file. You can cursor down to the unwanted entry and press the delete button
to remove it from there.

If you're interested in a more robust NK2 file editor, go to
www.dcs-imaging.com/products.htm and download Owtlook.
