Some question answered as I attempted to network two
computers at home has left desk top automatically logging
on as Administrator whenever computer is booted up. How
do I set so sign on window gives option of User ID to be
signed on?

Go to Users and Passwords in Control Panel. You should
see a check box that says something to the effect of
having users log in each time. This is assuming you are
not connected to a domain, in which case it should
automatically prompt you for a user. Hope this helps!

Control Panel; Users & Passwords; Tick the users must enter ausername &
password box.

(You do have more than one user registered, don't you?)

Go under start -- control panel-- user and passwords ---
click on "The user must enter a password to logon to this
machine. Under the advanced tab just above that you can
set up passwords for Admin and guest accounts. Hope this
helped.
