Automatic downloads

I keep getting automatic update notification
for "Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 6
Service Pack 1 (KB832894) even though I install it each
time I get a notice of an Automatic Update. Anyone know
why. I have Windows 2000 Professional and IE 6 Service
Pack 1.
 
Can you see the 832894 update on your Add/Remove Programs? If you can, the
update is loaded but your update log file is not filled out correctly. You
can ignore the notification, or

You can uninstall the update from Add/Remove. And then install it again.

Do you turn off your anti-virus before downloading it? (You should.)
