Automatic display of images in Outlook 2002

I know that Outlook 2003 has a feature that permits
automatic display of images on a received email in HTML.
Is there a similar setting in Outlook 2002?

All versions of Outlook starting with Outlook 98 have permitted embedded
images in an HTML message to display. However, no version of Outlook has
allowed previewing of ATTACHED images to a message -- Outlook 2003 included.
Were you talking about attached images, or did you mean to say that Outlook
2003 PROHIBITS automatic display of embedded images by default (which is
true, and no, Outlook 2002 did not have that capability)?

I was referring to attached images. Embedded images show
up just fine. Outlook Express has always allowed
automatic display of attached images but I guess you're
telling me that Outlook itself never has?

Stu

That is correct.
