Automatic dial will now work

I am sure I have set up all the options for re-dialling
my ISP if I can't establish a connection ie wait 5
seconds, redial 99 times. But it will NOT work. It did
work on my old computer (but this was Win 98SE, now I am
using Win XP home)

Any ideas please?
 
This is my first post and I had a typo in the heading
which completely altered the meaning ! ! !

It should say Automatic dial will NOT work
