Automatic date insertion

Hi All, I hope you can help I am new to word 2007 and I am having trouble
turning off the automatic data insertion. eg 4th September 2009 becomes 4th
September 2009-09-04.

Please can you help
 
When you see the AutoComplete suggestion, you can choose to ignore it, in
which case Word won't insert anything.

To permanently turn off AutoComplete for dates in Word 2007, do the
following: Press Alt+F11 to display the Visual Basic Editor. Press Ctrl+G to
activate the Immediate window. Type

Application.DisplayAutoCompleteTips = False

and then press Enter. Close the Visual Basic Editor.
