Automatic Bullet Lists

I'm trying to customize my bulleted lists. I have turned off all the
automatic options for bulleted lists, and still the application gives me the
default setting for bulleted lists. I'm using the Teacher and Student
Edition of Word 2003. Thanks to anyone in the community who can steer me
clear on this.

Sorry about the repeated posting. The article was helpful to me to stop Word
from overriding my settings.
