Autoformat problems

Hi

I have Word 2003 and I cannot figure out how to stop automatic update style.

I will be typing a paragraph then type enter to start the next paragraph and suddenly bullets have been set up for me. Sometimes the justification and even font size will change. I have to go to edit and undo the automatic update style

I have gone to tools-->autocorrect options--> autoformat as you type and tried to turn it off but no luck.

Help please. Thanks!
