AutoFormat Entire Workbook

Is there a way to get the autoformat function to format
an entire workbook & not just the active worksheet? On
the same note; is it possible to do a find/replace across
the entire workbook?

Thanks in advance.

I use xl2002 and I could group my worksheets and apply Format|autoformat to all
the grouped sheets.

Click on the first worksheet tab and ctrl-click on subsequent. (or right click
on a tab and choose "select all sheets".)

Remember that anything you do to one sheet (in grouped mode) gets nailed down to
the others in the group--so be careful.

Find across worksheets in xl97 don't work very well. In xl2k, you can group
your sheets and do the find. In xl2002, there's an option for "search within"
(sheet or workbook).

In all versions, you can group and do the Edit|Replace.

And this will work in all versions, too.

Or Jan Karel Pieterse's FlexFind:

or
http://www.bmsltd.ie/MVP/

but it's especially nice for xl97 and xl2k.

I finally got a chance to try this & it works great.
What a time saver . . . thank you!
