AutoEvents quit working

I'm sure this is something simple. I've programmed with VB before but I'm
new to PowerPoint.

I loaded the AutoEvents Add-in, I loaded the autoevents.ppt (to get the
code). I ran it and it worked. I moved the code to my PPT. It worked in
my PPT. I tried to add some code to the Auto_ShowBegin. My code didn't
work so I removed it. Now I can't get the autoevents to work. I've tried
unloading and loading the Add-in. I've tried loading the autoevents.ppt
again. Closed PowerPoint, etc.

It's kind of like walking on egg shells getting everything to keep working.
I guess I'm glad I'm not giving a big customer presentation.

Thanks for the help,

E. Cox

Are the events enabled in the options of the AutoEvents dialog?

Hmmmm, I'm not sure where the "AutoEvents dialog" is (so maybe that IS my
problem) but the AutoEvent Add-in is listed and checked. When I bring up
the VB Editor it shows Module1, Module2 and clsCBEvents. When I click
the "Run Macro" button I can execute the Macros from there.

By the way, I keep forgetting to mention that I am using PowerPoint 2002
on Windows XP.

Thanks,

E. Cox.

The AutoEvents options are at Tools-->Auto Events-->Auto Events options. There is also another command there called "Enable Auto Events". That is what fixed this problem for me..."Enable Auto Events" was not marked. Not sure why these commands are not mentioned on the AutoEvents webpage.
