I use "auto correct" (on tools menu) extensively. Is it possible to save
"auto correct" entries on a CD so if one day my computer crashes I will be
able to re load the "auto correct" items onto the new computer? if so how?

Look in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\Macros and open the
Support.dot file. You have the utility there to backup your AutoCorrect
entries to a file.

Hope this helps,

Thank you Brian. I looked at \microsoft Office\ the folder I have there is
\office11\ and there is no "Macros". Any idea where else it could be?

The path for your version will be C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\OFFICE11\MACROS
If not present you could re-run Office setup from Control panel > add or
remove programs and add it from the Word templates and macros section Or
copy it from the install disc.
