autocomplete

Just got my laptop back from a hard drive replacement and
have discovered the autocomplete feature doesn't work.
I've gone to internet options and made sure the feature
is enabled and to the advance tab to make sure those
settings are correct as well. I still am prompted to type
in user names and passwords for the company mainframe and
for email in outlook express. Each time the windows
prompt to remember passwords comes up and each time I ask
it to remember but it doesn't. Running XP by the way.

Hi Wayne,

This workaround is for AutoComplete as well.

Go to Start/Run and type in: services.msc
Scroll down to Protected Storage and verify that the service is started.

Outlook Express keeps prompting for your password
