Autocomplete won't turn off

Hi everyone.
I'm having a problem with autocomplete, I've disabled my
inline auto complete in advanced options, and through the
start-search-preferences menu and cleared the
autocomplete check boxes in content tab, yet my searches
are still getting saved, how do I stop this?? Any help at
all would be great thanks!!!
 
Control Panel, Internet Options, Content, Autocomplete. IE is very tightly integrated into the Windows shell.

If MS Office is installed turn it off in Word, too.
