My internet site id's & passwords dissappear often. I am assuming disk
cleanup is the culprit. Which box do I uncheck to make sure these are not
continually deleted?

Most sites use Internet cookie files for this purpose.

Thanks for the quick reply Mark. Should I uncheck "Temporary Internet Files"
or "Webclient/Publisher Internet Files" from the diskcleanup setup?
Thanks again for help....

:

No you want to remove the TIF's too. The following files/folders are
temporary and can be removed to recover disk space and save the hard
drive from searching through megs of unnecessary files.

System Temp Folder (C:\Temp) if one exists.
Windows Cookies ([email protected])
Windows Temp Folder (*.tmp and others. Used by installers and other
apps)
Temporary Internet Files Folder (cached web pages)
Webclient/Publisher Internet Files
Offline web pages (if you are done reading them)

You can use the built-in disk cleanup (cleanmgr.exe, recommended) or do
it manually. Here is another useful program for disk maintenance.
