AutoCAD 2004, Windows 2000 - user profile problem

When tyring to open up a drawing on the server through
AutoCAD 2004, the application just freezes/hangs.
Eventually after about 10 mins, the open box will finally
appear and I can open up drawings.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and this has
made no difference. The strange thing is is that if I log
on to my machine with a different user name, AutoCAD opens
up drawing from the server with no problem.

Is it possible that there is a problem with my profile. I
don't have any problems accessing any other files on the
server through other applications.

Any ideas???

Since this is an AutoCAD specific problem, you may want to post on the
newsgroups at the Autodesk news server (discussion.autodesk.com or
something similar I believe)

Any case, there might be a tool to set up AutoCAD for a new user, run that
on your profile. Alternatively, save your profile to a new location, and
create a new profile to see if that is the real problem.

Good luck.
