AutoArchiving Recurring Meeting Requests

When you autoarchive things in your calendar will it take
off something that's recurring or will it just take off
that instance?
 
I believe that only recurring items for which ALL recurrences are in the
past will AutoArchive (in other words, you've set an end date for the
recurrences and that end date has passed), and then it will be only the
recurrences that meet the archive date criteria at the time. Recurring
items with no end date will never AutoArchive.
