Autoarchive folders remain connected

In previous version of outlook when the autoarchive was done the archive
folder was automaticly removed when the archive completed.
Now when autoarchive run, and this is under Outlook 2003, the archive folder
remain.
Is there a way to set the same behavior as before or do we have to live with
the archive folders showing?

Right-click the archive file's root and choose Close.
