Having difficulties with a few of my Outlook users with regard to Send &
Receive. Composed messages sit in the Outbox until Send & Receive is
activated. Sometimes, messages will exit the outbox upon clicking on another
message or resorting a column. Receiving of messages also exhibits similar
behavior. Instead of a message arriving and notifying the recipient, the
message is not delivered until hitting Send & Receive or performing actions
described above. So far, this is happening on 3-4 accounts out of about 200.
We are running Exchange 2000 Server Enterprise Edition w/SP3 on Windows 2000
Advanced Server w/SP4 and all the latest patches. Client end is Outlook 2000
on Windows XP Professional w/SP2. All clients are set to Corporate/Workgroup,
and are set for messages to be delivered to the mailbox, not a PST file.
Configuration of problem clients appears to be identical to configuration of
clients that are working correctly. Any assistance or guidance would be
greatly appreciated.
