I am not using a client server on my stand alone PC.

is there a way to generate a Auto-Respond to incoming email when I'm on
vacation??

Windows XP Home
Outlook 2003

Thanks!

You can create a rule that replies on all e-mails. The downside of this is
that you'll have to have your Outlook open all the time for the rules to
process. Make sure you set some exceptions (for instance based on the
subject field so it will not reply on subject with e.g. reply, failed,
undeliverable, etc...) otherwhise you could create endless mailloops between
two mailservers and those can be a real threat to the mailservers!

Tips of the month:
-Properly back-up and restore your Outlook data
-Creating a Permanent New Mail Desktop Alert in Outlook 2003

I'm trying to make a rule using a template, but when I "Save As" I'm not
given the option to save as an Outlook Template.

What's the work around on this??

I like you site too.

Set Outlook as the e-mail editor instead of Word.
