Bob

I have Outlook Express. Please tell me how to set up an
auto reply telling peple that I' m gone, unavailable via
phone and e-mail, and the dates that I will be back?

I have seen such answers and I would like to emulate them.

Go to "Tools" then "Out of Office Assistant" -- you can
set your out-of-office message, dates, rules, etc. from
there.

Outlook Express doesn't HAVE Out of Office Assistant.

Gordon: -New Problem
Outlook XP (not OE) is auto-sending a reply to people who write to me, that I've received their message. For the life of me, I cannot discover where to turn this off. Any suggestions? Please email me: (e-mail address removed) - thanks, even if you;re stumped. Bob

I'm not Gordon, but it sounds like the senders are requesting delivery
receipts and getting them. You can turn mail tracking off in
Tools>Options>E-mail Options>Tracking Options (for Outlook 2002 and 2003,
but didn't say which version of Outlook you have).
