Auto Reply for office assistant

Our office is having a problem. When setting up the Auto Reply for out of office assistant, it will give the message to people inside our office, but when someone from the outside e-mails - it will not give them the message. Does anyone know how to solve that problem.
 
that's a default setting with Exchange Server. Your Admin will have to
change it IF they can be persuaded to do so. It means that ALL spam sent to
your office addresses will be replied to.
