auto reply and forward

I am going out of the office for about a week. Just started using MS Outlook
2003. I know there is a way to auto reply to mail that comes so that the
senders know I am out of the office, as well as forward the mail message to
my assistant. I just cant find it??? Any help would be great!
 
Are you using an Exchange Server at the office? What you want is the Out Of
Office Assistant, but its only available when Outlook is used with an
Exchange Server. If the office is not using Exchange Server, you can use
the Rules Wizard to accomplish about the same thing, though you'll need to
leave your computer turned on with Outlook running:
