Auto refresh on opening

Hi Everyone;
I have worksheet since v.2000 with query "Refresh on opening". I remember when upgraded to XP it asked first time if I want to enable automatic refresh and after enabling it did not prompt me anymore. Now 3 days after upgrade to 2003 every time I open this file, Enable or Disable automatic refresh is displayd eventhough this option is checked in query properties. Is it by design?

You can alter the registry, as described in the following MSKB article.
Backup the registry first, and substitute Office 11 for Office 9:
