Seth

I'm the administrator and only user of my computer. I'd
like to have my computer go straight to the desktop when
I turn it on without requiring a username and password
(or clicking of the logon icon). Do someone know how to
do this?

Hi Seth,

To enable Windows XP to logon automatically to the desktop please see the

Click Start, Run and enter CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2 Uncheck Users must enter a username and password........... Click Apply. On the next dialog enter the username you want logged on automatically, and the password for that account, if any.
