Hello Everyone,

I have an interesting problem. Windows XP has a built in
feature that allows you to automatically resize an image
that you wish to send via email. When you right-click the
image and choose Send-to mail recipient, you get a dialog
that asks you to pick resizing options.

Somehow that feature has been disabled on my PC, I can't
find an option to enable or disable this feature to save
my life.
Please help!

Thanks

This typically happens due to registry corruption. Go to

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.jpg

There should be a string value called "PerceivedType" whose content is
"image". If not, create one. Repeat for the other image types (.bmp, .gif,
etc.)

I had the opposite. This stupid message started appearing and I DON"T want to see it! I know what I want to send and don't want Windows to ask me if I know what I'm doing.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Dave
