when I touch the edge of the desktop screen with the mouse
pointer, the start menu pops up nicely. But when there is
a window maximized on the screen, the start bar does not
pop up. I need to use the windows key to pop up the start
bar. What's up?
I am using a compaq nc6000 laptop running XP Pro and
either the touchpad or the eraserhead. The start bar is
not popping under the maximized window, as I can make a
small window that touches the side of the screen but
doesn't extend the full width of the screen so I could see
the bar pop out, and it doesn't pop, unless I touch the
side of the desktop above or below the window.
