Auto Filter

When I turn Auto Filter on and then filter, the spread
sheet becomes very slow. Can anyone tell me why this may
be happening.

Hi Tim,
And you have no clue at all? With Auto Filter off does the spreadsheet
speed up. Do you have SUBTOTAL formulas -- they work with filters.
Do you have a lot of user defined functions.

Check your last cell Ctrl+End to see where that is, it should
be at the intersection of your last used row and last used column.
If it is something like AE65536 then I would suspect that to be
problem. See
