Somehow Outlook stored and is recalling a specific email address for someone
I email frequently. So when I email them it keeps defaulting to that users
address. I've deleted that address from my contacts database, but it keeps
appearing, any idea why and or how I can get rid of it?

thanks,

Remove individual addresses from the autocompletion cache by highlighting
the entry when presented in the suggested names list (use your arrow key to
migrate to the entry) and then hitting your Delete key before you tab out of
the field. To clear the entire cache, follow the instructions here:

Jason,

If you're seeking a more sophisticated solution for correcting these
entries, you may want to take a look at our utility at
www.dcs-imaging.com/products.htm. Our Owtlook utility will let you open,
add, edit, print, export records contained in your autocomplete cache (NK2)
file.

If you just have one or two erroneous entries, the scroll down with the
arrow key and press the delete button works great too.

Thanks, unfortunately, neither of those suggestions worked. I highlighted and
deleted the address when it popped up, but it keeps popping up. I then tried
to follow the knowledge base article however was unable to locate the .NK2
file.

Any other ideas?

Thanks,
Jason
