Authentication time testing

Hi,

I am hoping that someone maybe able to answer this for me.
We are currently looking at migrating our Authentication
and WINS servers to another site....These new servers are
currently online but not actively used (Pre-Prod).

I would like to test the speed / time in which the remote
systems respond to authentication and WINS requests.

Does anyone know of any products or processes I could
employ to carry out these tasks and log the data. ?

I need to specifically request authentication from
another server in the same domain....
I guess I could test the WINS by, setting the static
entry for WINS server and doing a cople of NSLOOKUPs,
then log the time that way.

Anyone know how I could acheive at least the
authentication testing ?

ANY information would be great.

We are running Windows 2000 Adv Server, on a fibre link
to the remote site.

Have you had a look at the Windows Performance Monitor tool? It has counters
for monitoring WINS and AD.
