authentication tab missing

under the Wireless network connection properties
I had General, Authentication, Wireless Networks and Advanced tabs.

Recently I installed Windows XP Home edition SP2 and I have a lot of
connection problem ( I often get disconnected).

I noticed that under the Wireless network connection properties now I have
only General, Wireless Networks and Advanced tabs

The Authentication, tab is missing what should I do to have again this
authentication tab.

I have a linksys wireless - G ADSL Gateway (WAG54G) and a linksys Wireless-G
PCI adapter (WMP54G).

How can I have the Authentication tab?

Make sure that "allow Windows to manage this connection" is checked.
