Even when I don't have anything running on my CP Home
machine, the memory usage for program services.exe can be
over 171,000kb and it is far and away the user of memory

The largest CPU usage goes to the System Idle Process

Any suggestions? The system is incredibly slow

I would certainly HOPE that the idle process would be the
big user. That means that your computer has nothing to
do. If it were otherwise, then you'd have a problem. By
the way - what does this have to do with "Audio Sound
Drags"?
 
sounds like a virus. you have a virus checker and keep it
updated and running live? i've known a lot of viruses to
do crazy things like that.
