Audio feed using both DVD and CD-R

I am using XP operating system. My computer uses a intel 3.2 processor, Asus
motherboard 478pin P4800-E deluxe model. How do I set up the audi feeds
since I can only have one audio channel to my dvd what about the audio
connection for the cd-r. Will I need to connect them together; one as a
slave and the other master and the audio wire to just either the dvd or the
cd-r drives?

You don't even need the audio lead. The Audio will get sent via the ide lead
for both drives.
