Every time I reboot my system my audio driver (sigma tell c-major) has been
removed, although i I can eaisily reinstall it, it is very annoying, the
problem is most likeley that when I reinstall the driver it asks me, to
finish install I have to reboot and that leaves me with no driver agaln,
thanks in advance.

It might be in your best interest to follow the instructions. Some
device drivers, mostly the important ones like audio drivers, needs
to be registered into the Windows Registry. This is accomplished with
the re-boot. The Windows Registry is important to loading devices (and
other items of importance) when the computer starts up.

Thanks GHallek, but I dont understand, the sigma tell c-major is a signed
microsoft
driver, how can I register the driver in the windows registry?.

"Signed" Microsoft driver means that the driver file has been certified
by Microsoft to work with Windows. It does not mean that the driver has
been installed or registered into the Windows system that is present in
the current computer. That is, there is no Windows Registry line item for
it and without it, the Windows operating system does not know what to do
with it. Re-booting a computer with Windows means that shutting down will
write the latest operating system entries to the Windows Registry so that
the proper instructions, such as load the audio drivers, are followed in
the subsequent boot. Understand it now?

Thanks Mistoffolees, I think know what you are saying, so there must be a
reigstry line missing, if so how do I replace the line in the registry
telling audio driver to start at boot up, thanks again, John.

Any answer to this? I'm having the same issue - the driver disappears on
every reboot.

So far no solution.
